- Hip extension: 10 to 15 degrees
- Hip abduction: 30 to 50 degrees
- Hip adduction: 30 degrees
- Hip lateral rotation: 40 to 60 degrees
- Hip medial rotation: 30 to 40 degrees

- Osteoarthritis or Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Unilateral or bilateral hip involvement
- Groin Pain with ambulation
- Pain reproduced on range of motion

- Comorbid connective tissue disease
- Hip MRI may be required for diagnosis

- Trochanteric Bursitis
- Upper lateral Hip Pain without Groin Pain
- Radiation to knee may occur
- Worse with direct pressure (rolling onto side in bed)
- Iliopectineal Bursitis
- Pain below inguinal ligament and lateral to vessel
